Lleyton Hewitt beat Tim Henman 4-6, 6-1, 6-4 to win the Stella Artois Championships for a third time in a row. The last player to win three in a row at the Queen's club was John McEnroe.

Albert Costa clinches the French Open

Albert Costa beat Juan Carlos Ferrero in 4 sets in the French Open final, to claim his first grand slam. It was the fourth grand slam in a row that has been won by a player who had previously not won a grand slam, following Goran Ivanisevic at Wimbledon and Lleyton Hewitt at the US Open last year, and Thomas Johansson at this year's Australian Open.
